Sports career

Before transitioning into corporate and executive sports leadership, Dania was an elite competitor. A prodigy in Table Tennis, she claimed her first adult national championship at just 15 years old. By age 18, she secured 5 consecutive national titles, cementing her legacy on the court before deploying that same championship mindset to local sports diplomacy and administration.

Strategic Vision & Regional Integration

Under her administration, the FDOK is spearheading a renewed diplomatic approach toward regional sports collaboration across the Caribbean. A core focus of her presidency is establishing strong developmental frameworks alongside bodies like the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC) and neighboring Olympic committees. Her strategic roadmap focuses on paving clear, undeniable institutional paths for Curaçaoan athletes to excel and gain recognition on major international stages.

Community Leadership & Cultural Ambassadorship

Beyond the athletic arena, Dania has long served as a prominent cultural ambassador for the island. Embraced by the community for her leadership and public presence, she made history in the cultural sector by winning the prestigious Curaçao Harvest Parade Queen title and being crowned Curaçao Carnival Queen (Reina di Karnaval) in 2018. This unique blend of elite athletic discipline, professional marketing acumen, and deep-rooted cultural pride allows her to connect authentically with local youth and community stakeholders alike.
